Pimal A. Patel is the managing partner of Patel Anderson LLP. Pimal routinely represents real estate developers, borrowers, sponsors and franchisees in a variety of commercial transactions and litigation matters. Pimal has garnered recognition from his colleagues and peers for his accomplishments and the successful outcomes he has achieved for his clients. Pimal has earned an "AV Preeminent" rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been consistently recognized as a "Rising Star" by Texas Super Lawyers since 2019 for his real estate practice. Most recently, Pimal was selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America in 2024. Pimal possesses first-hand experience in owning, operating, and managing assets in the real estate sector, giving him a unique understanding of the challenges faced by the hospitality industry. He has closely collaborated with franchisees, small business owners and industry groups across the country, aiding them in overcoming hurdles that could have otherwise caused their establishments to close permanently.
In addition to practicing law, Pimal believes strongly in community service. Since 2013, Pimal has served as a Director of the Small Independent Motel Association (SIMA). Also, Pimal previously served as the chair to the Education & Professional Development Committee and the Franchise and Industry Relations Committee for the world’s largest hotel owner’s association, Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), and currently serves as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee for AAHOA.
